65 (English) Helping BIPOC Young Professionals Make Their Next Career Move with Priscilla Bulcha

Priscilla is the host of The Early Career Moves Podcast, and is passionate about helping BIPOC folks and women make their next best career move with confidence and ease.

During her 20s, Priscilla had NO IDEA what she wanted to do with her career. She switched careers three times (from policy analyst to teacher, from teacher to recruiter, from recruiter to management consultant), and it took her WAY TOO LONG to figure out what she really wanted.

When she became a recruiter, however, a light bulb went off. She suddenly understood how hiring managers think – and what they’re looking for in their candidates. She became a talent acquisition expert, and, over time, she realized that switching careers wasn’t actually that hard – as long as you understood the modern-day job search and got over your mind drama.

Today, Priscilla has an exciting career working as a human capital management consultant. She loves what she does, and it meets her top 3 career non-negotiable factors. But, the truth is, the road to get here was not linear nor simple.

This is why she created the Early Career Moves Podcast – to help ambitious BIPOC young professionals make their next career move with joy & confidence. She would love to help you make your next career move – one that leads to more money, freedom, and inner peace.

She lives, works, podcast, and coaches from Austin, Texas. In her spare time, she likes to travel, check out new bars & restaurants with her husband, Brook, and cuddle with her Shih-tzu, Kili.

Priscilla got my BA in Political Science & Italian Studies from Wellesley College, her MBA from UT Austin McCombs School of Business, and MPA from UT Austin – LBJ School of Public Affairs.
