91 (English) Scholarship Interview with Finalist Nayeli (Copy)
In this episode, Nathalie, host of Peruvians of USA conducts an interview with Nayeli, a scholarship finalist. In partnership with Fundacion Puro Peru, they launched what may be the first scholarship for Peruvians in the US. Silvia Orellana, the president of Fundacion Puro Peru also took part in the discussion, outlining the Foundation's mission to educate communities about Peru. Nayeli shares her educational journey as a junior at the University of Connecticut, majoring in human rights, and psychology with a minor in Latino studies. She's considering a future career in immigration and child protection law and discusses her active involvement in supporting Peruvian and Latinx students in her community.
